About the role

We are looking for a Proposal Specialist to join us at the Nintex office in Melbourne. In this role you will be responsible for the development and production of articulate, compliant, high-quality, and highly technical responses to RFIs and RFPs. You will participate in all aspects of the process from pre-solicitation through submission of final responses. As such, strong project management and technical skills are a must!

As a Proposal Specialist with Nintex you will be responsible for coordination between various departments including sales, engineering, legal, and security to ensure both thorough and timely responses to all RFIs and RFPs.  Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong technical writing skills, an inquisitive mindset and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic and fast moving environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with Nintex Sales and Engineering teams in preparing responses to proposals and managing the response process from receipt of RFP/RFI through to delivery of the final responses.
  • Analysing proposal requirements, developing compliance matrix, and establishing proposal schedule including all proposal development activities, meetings, document reviews, and approval gate reviews.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining a content library for future proposals and RFP’s.
  • Taking complex and technical solutions and presenting them in a simplified yet accurate manner to end customers and partners while ensuring writing is grammatically correct and easy to understand.
  • Managing timelines of proposal activities through to completion and submittal in order to meet deadlines.
  • Working with cross functional teams inside Nintex to ensure all proposals are consistent across business divisions.

About you

  • 2+ years of experience responding to RFP/RFI’s and unsolicited proposals in a SaaS environment.
  • 2+ years’ experience of project management experience, preferably in SaaS environment.
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with desktop publishing and documentation formatting tools including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of complex technical infrastructure like Azure and AWS and related data security controls.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and certifications like ISO and SOC 1/SOC 2
  • Successful track record of achieving or exceeding goals and objectives.
