Network Administrator Bellevue

 We are looking for a Network Administrator to help design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure.  The role will primarily focus around operational maintenance of the network and implementation of project based work involving but not limited to Dell and Cisco core technologies. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs as well as a 24-hour on-call rotation.

We would like for you to:

Maintain the overall infrastructure: Support and maintain the wired and wireless network, telecommunications, Skype for Business, utilizing a good understanding of internetworking protocols, TCP/IP models and network data flows. Configure and install client and server network software for upgrading.  Assist in the design, setup and configuration of advanced routing and switching environments.

Identify and resolve issues: Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors, etc. to provide technical assistance and support.  Identify and solve malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.

Support and Maintain Security:  Support and maintain Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, and Security appliances to ensure secure access to vital business applications.

Assist with IT Projects: Assists with assigned projects and program components.  Provides support with project work including requirements gathering, documentation, and implementations.

To be successful, we think you need the following:

  • BS/BA in related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience with Enterprise level Cisco switching and routing
  • Experience with ITIL and Change Requests/Management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Recommended Certifications: CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, RHCA

  • Virtualization, especially Hyper-V and Azure
  • Access Control/Authentication
