About the role

As a Technical Writer (Programmer – SDK and API) you’ll be building, delivering, and maintaining our SDK and API, along with related content, by working across multiple organisations and lines of business. Make no mistake, this is a technical role! We’ll need you to be a proficient in technical communication strategies and SaaS programming technologies.

In the next year we are set to have a big focus on Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and we are still in the very early stages. Joining the team at this time will mean that not only will you be able to bring your creativity to life within an awesome global team, you will be contributing to our ECM strategy from the ground up!

About you

  • Experienced technical writer who is seeking the next step in your career. We’d love 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in all facets of knowledge management, and can help develop cross-company processes with a team of content specialists to create a solid, easy-to-use SDK.
  • Experience with creating content and documentation for a global audience by following Microsoft style (MSTP) or other standard style guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Madcap Flare and similar XML documentation development.
  • Experience with JSON, REST, API, SDK, and other web technologies. C# and .NET experience a plus.
  • Have worked on other platform SDKs, managed concurrent efforts for both new and sustained engineering product lines, driven continuous innovation and growth in mature products for their needs, and worked on both the front-end and back-end of enterprise class solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and/or 2013 as well as the 2016 app model, front-end and back-end highly desired.
